Together with joint venture partners, this property, which previously traded as The Red Lion Public House, was purchased in February 2009.

In line with our current strategy to selectively make acquisitions, this was a purchase we made on an unconditional basis, with a view to submitting a planning application to convert the property to residential use.

Accordingly a Planning Application was submitted and subsequently obtained, to retain the façade and demolish the reminder of the property to create a single house, measuring just under 9,000 sq ft net.

Work commenced on site in July 2010 and was finished in July 2013. The house was finished to the highest specification and was sold fully furnished.  Features included two roof terraces, five bedrooms with the master suite occupying the entire first floor, cinema, gym and swimming pool.

The house was sold in 2014.
